Yorkshire Games Festival Museum Brand Design

Yorkshire Games Festival

Rebranding Yorkshire’s original games festival and increasing footfall

Client
The Yorkshire Games Festival is the National Science and Media Museums, an independent games festival. The festival focuses on game production, design and culture.
Requirements

We were commissioned by the Science and Media Museum to create the brand identity, imagery and print material for The Yorkshire Games Festival. Using the brand guidelines designed for the museum’s brand identity as a foundation.

Delivery

We developed a strong and striking brand, that allowed us to focus on the iconography and colours to create a visual style which was implemented across various print materials.  We used icons and illustrations to depict the various themes of the event, whilst working as standalone elements across both their print and digital elements.

As well as programs and flyers, we also designed badges, t-shirts and bags as well as many other festival marketing items. All of which, worked cohesively as a strong brand and festival identity.
