Our team’s passion for design is not only evident in our studio output but also in the activities we conduct outside of client commissions.
Our design director Matt Lamont’s extensive archive has become renowned across the globe and as part of his knowledge and ongoing archiving at designreviewed.com he was asked to speak to the Visual Communication students at Arts University Bournemouth. The archive has been used in various workshops and lectures since we set up Out of Place Studio and it is an invaluable asset housed at Assembly Bradford.
Matt spoke about the impact and development of design over the last 120 years, with a vast selection of images, all taken from his personal collection, The lecture concluded with the viewing of one hundred artefacts from the archive, where students had a tactile experience on graphic design history.
The continual collecting of design ephemera and the ongoing support Matt offers educational establishments align with our values of passion and experience and we champion the encouragement of design discourse and are always keen to inspire the next generation of graphic designers.
